You forgot to use this scandal to launch another attack Orthodox Judaism.
You are not horrified by this scandal? Do you approve of Orthodox Jews who commit crimes? Doesn't that cast a pall over orthodoxy as a whole?

And frankly, he and I suspect -- based on reading your blog for past year or two -- that you're not so much horrified as secretly gloating.

Nothing secret going on here. It is a public blog! If Touro announced a $100 million gift, we'd "gloat" about that too. It's called commenting on the news.
But if you spend all your time imagining make-believe bricks being added to a mythical heavenly Temple, you don't have a moment to read the news, do you?
