I think it's brilliant! Think how little everyone else will complain about the price of tickets, knowing that someone paid that.

It will also make people complain less about that their seats are in a suboptimal location. Clearly, if they're sitting in the kitchen behind the stove, it's because they didn't pony up the full admission price.
