Update: Yeshiva U sent out Ruth Madoff's Kosher Cook Book to its donors

Q: What's the difference between Mr. Madoff and Mrs. Madoff?
A. Ruth -- put her name on someone else's cook book. Bernie -- cooked his own books.

Bloomberg reports, Madoff’s Wife Says $62 Million ‘Unrelated’ to Fraud.

Now just who dares to say that Bernie's wife Ruth Madoff is not kosher?

Why as you well know, she's even written a kosher cook book!

Update 1: the Times has an article about the book, confirming what our commenters are saying.... [thanks to B], e.g., Ruth did not write the book.

Update 2: We bought a copy on Amazon and it came today with this Yeshiva University book plate (below) pasted inside -- saying, "Please accept this complimentary copy ... with gratitude and appreciation for your support" and thanking Ruth Madoff and Idee Schoenheimer for donating the book (click on the image to enlarge and read it).

The International Herald Tribune has reported the following about Madame Madoff's kosher cookbook. Now why would she want to lie about her abilities?

"The New York Times reported in January that the book's editor, food and wine expert Karen MacNeil, said she was paid to write all of it."

Well, though it might be pork in matter, since it is sausage in form, it is at least kosher 'style.' -- www.thetalmudist.com
