Minneapolis based Best Buy electronics retailer last year announced that in their advertising they were using "Happy Holidays" for the Christmas shopping season, and they were not using "Merry Christmas."
This year they are using yarmulkas and menorahs in their ads! (Although the yarmulkas on the man and boy look like they were photoshopped in.)
Next year we expect to see peiyos, beards and tzitzis.
I was shocked and amused to see this when it came with our paper.
ReplyDeleteThe man and boy were definitely photoshopped in; one of the featured products shows a photo of just the woman in an identical pose as the one with her "family" but the father and son are missing.
