Barack is Right - America is bitter!

We are bitter in the small towns, and the big cities.
We are tired of a needless war. We want to know why Saddam was hung and Osama was spared.
We are tired of government-protected corporate theft and deception.
We are bitter that our dollars are worth much less every day.
We are bitter that the stocks we buy are not stable.
We are bitter that gas costs us way too much.
We are bitter that health care costs us way too much.
We are bitter at the bickering of politicians and their incessant games of GOTCHA.
This must end.
Barack is our best way forward. He's not perfect. He's just better than the rest.
Barack is right - America is bitter.
And he is the one leader who has the best chance of getting us out of the messes that made us so bitter.

  3. a. Some, not all, of America is bitter.
    b. Osama wasn't "spared"; he just wasn't caught like Saddam.
    c. Stocks being unstable: well yeah, that's generally the nature of stocks.
    d. Bickering politicians: Pretty par for the course in any generation

    e. "And he is the one leader who has the best chance of getting us out of the messes that made us so bitter." -- Any supporting proof would be most welcome.

  5. FWIW, here were Obama's comments:

"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, a lot of them — like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they’ve gone through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, and they cling to guns, or religion, or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment, or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

  6. Obama is the same snide arrogant elitist who told Hillary she was "likeable enough."

Those of us sick to our stomachs of the destructive clown President do not need this prig who is prepared to make every mistake as he pushes ahead of where he is ready to be.

    Hillary, we need you!!!!

  7. I used to admire obama. He was interesting, had prospects, and seemed intelligent and Fresh.

However, the more he talks since he began running for president, the less respect I have for him.

He recent spell of asinine comments shot from the hip are just too much. His arrogance is very off putting, especially since he is still so wet behind the ears.

  11. The prophecy of the book of Anonymous. I am glad you grace us with your prophetic presence. We mere mortals will work in the here and now to make the future happen. (And the lead was down to 6% in some polls.)

  13. Rabbi, I don't understand your comment "Karl meet John - he's a user." What do you mean? I hope you're not attempting to demean me personally. If you are, I think you should review the promises to G-d made on your ordination.

Whatever your meaning, I don't think its complimentary. I think you owe me a personal apology. I NEVER insulted you personally!

Finally, please restore the posts I made and which you deleted. They are relevant to issues which you have raised and deserving to be aired. Moreover, please answer the various questions which I have posed and which still remain unanswered.

  14. No John. There was no insult. I was introducing you to Karl Marx as a religious person in the way that Karl understands it - as a user of opium. It's humor. Surely you've heard of humor. It's been in all the papers. If I said that someone was a blog troll who does not know when to move on - that might be an insult. But I would not say that about anyone.

  15. Okay, Rabbi, I saw your response, but I don't entirely buy it. I'll let it pass for now.

You really don't have many other people who comment on your blog on a regular basis other than bryce and myself, so why delete my comments?

ALL of my comments are made for the purpose of advocating my beliefs. I understand that you disagree with many, or most, thereof. But in full, free and democratic systems, divergent opinions should be aired.

BTW, you still haven't answered any of the important questions which I posed to you
