Was comedian Buddy Hackett Jewish?

Of course Buddy Hackett was Jewish. And he was one of the funniest people on the planet.

This video from Jib Jab has a few of his funniest jokes -- as told on the Johnny Carson Tonight show.

I have told his "Duck" joke dozens of times (see it at about 4 minutes left on the video). Also it forms the basis for my negotiations philosophy.

    He was Jewish, but despite your reference to him in the present tense, Buddy remains as dead as he has been the last five and a half years.
