Shabbat Shalom I find myself chair of the "CHAI Cup" golf tournament which is a community fundraiser for Solomon Schechter Day School and 4 supporting congregations (in St. Louis, MO). I'm trying to find inspirational messages tying golf to Judaism (I googled Talmud and Golf and got this site....). Any putts of wisdom? Jennifer Goldberg Low.
Golf buddies Ben and Irving made a pact. Whoever died first promised to contact the survivor and let him know if there is golf in heaven.
Ben died and a few days later Irving got a phone call. Long distance from heaven, Ben said to Irving. So nu, is there golf in the afterlife? Irving asked.
I have good news and bad news, said Ben. The good news is yes, there is golf in next life, he told Irving. The bad new is that you have a tee time on Friday morning...
